Jon Kabat-Zinn is a scientist, author, and teacher, who has brought mindfulness meditation into the mainstream of medicine.

On this CD set, he introduces the ways that becoming mindful of our breathing can reduce stress and improve health. Mindfulness for Beginners includes five guided meditations for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as information to help develop practices to help you work wisely and compassionately with stress, pain, illness, and sorrow, as well as joy and pleasure.
